Super Mario Bros. was Nintendo's first game for the Nintendo Entertainment System released on October 18, 1985 as one of the Nintendo Entertainmen System's eighteen launch titles and the first pack-in title on the second version of the Control Deck set. As the second game in the Mario Series (after Mario Bros.), the game sold 4.23 million units and became the best-selling game in the world. This game was also re-released as an arcade game known as VS. Super Mario Bros. in 1986. The success of this game also inspired it's sequel, Super Mario Bros. 2. Another re-release was in 2004 with the NES Classics Series on the Game Boy Advance.

Game Description
Tips
- Power Booster Mushrooms move to the right. Don't let them escape!
- Stomp on Lakitus from above. It's hard, but it's the only way to stop them.
- There are Warp Zones in levels 1 - 2 and 4 - 2. Use them to travel to other worlds.
- Stomp on the front of the shell of the Koopa Troopa hopping down the steps of a pyramid at the end of some worlds. You can collect as many extra lives as you wish by timing your jumps just right as the Koopa Troopa bounces back and forth between Mario and the side of the next step, up to 100.
