NES Zapper is a light gun controller for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The first known game it was was used for was Duck Hunt.
Color used of the Gun[]

When it debuted in 1985, the Light Zapper was colored the same light gray and dark gray used for the NES deck itself. However, the Zapper's color scheme was changed in 1989 to comply with the United State's Federal Toy Gun Law, passed the previous year. Because toy guns became required to be visually distinguishable from real ones, new Zapper model replaced the original's dark gray sections with a glaring orange, without changing the light gray.
